Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A query entered into a search tool is transmitted to the outside provider that operates that tool. That provider processes the query under its own policy. Fulton County Court Docket does not keep a separate log of those search terms.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email or contact submission may be retained so a response can be sent and the communication can be administered. It is not disclosed outside the organization except where law requires disclosure.
Data We Gather Automatically
Like most online services, page requests can produce technical visit information such as:
- The IP address assigned to your device
- Which browser you are using and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any
- Timestamps for each page view
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies and analytics may be used to understand aggregate traffic, page performance, and technical problems. Browser settings can limit cookies, although doing so can alter how some features operate.
What We Do With This Data
Technical and voluntarily provided information may be used for limited operational purposes:
- Keeping the site up, running, and loading quickly
- Sending your search requests to the right partner service
- Figuring out which pages people find useful and which need work
- Tracking down and fixing technical issues
- Showing ads that may line up with your interests
No Court-Record Data on File
This resource does not host, compile, sell, or maintain a database of Fulton County dockets or personal case records. It describes official routes to the Fulton County Clerk of Courts Legal Division, the Court of Common Pleas, Eastern and Western District Courts, Probate Court, and county CaseLook. It is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports about other people.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate any search boxes presented here. Their retention, disclosure, and security practices are governed by their own notices, not this policy. Review a provider’s policy before entering information into its service.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Fulton County, Ohio judiciary, clerk, court, and third-party resources. Once a visitor leaves this resource, the destination’s privacy policy controls the visit and any information submitted there.
Advertising providers can use their own technology for advertising measurement or interest-based advertising. That activity is administered on their systems.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal information is not sold. Limited information can be disclosed to:
- Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
- Analytics services we use to track traffic and performance
- Ad networks that place ads on our pages
- Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable administrative and technical measures are used to protect information in our possession. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Users Under 18
This resource is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from people under 18. If a minor’s information may have been submitted, contact the operator so the issue can be reviewed.
Your Data Rights
Visitors may request access to or correction of information held about them, subject to applicable law and operational needs. Court-record access linked from this resource is governed by Ohio’s Rules of Superintendence 44–47 and Ohio R.C. 2303.12, rather than by this private policy. At a minimum, a visitor may:
- Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
- Have us fix information that is wrong
- Request that we erase your data
- Opt out of certain kinds of data processing
Updates to This Policy
This policy may be revised as the service or applicable requirements change. A revised version will be posted here with an updated effective date.
